Armoured Vehicles Display Day - 2022

You may have seen our front-of-house vehicles on display, but have you seen the vehicles in storage?
The Australian Army Tank Museum is throwing one last Display Day for the year before we close up shop and prepare to move location.
Don’t miss out on this year’s last chance to see some of the most iconic Armoured Vehicles that once served the Australian Defence Force and much much more!
This display day will feature a line-up and static start-up of vehicles that show astounding versatility and ingenuity of Tank design.
Such a lineup will include, but is not limited to:
Swedish S- TANK
Swedish IKV 91 Tank Destroyer
Centurion MBT
Leopard MBT
Leopard Mine plough
Leopard Bridgelayer
M113A1 MRV
M113A1 ACV
M113A1 Ambulance
M113A1 Trials Vehicles
If this line-up gets you hot under your bonnet, don't forget to peruse our set exhibits and gawp at the technical variations between the line-up and the rest of our Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFV), Main Battle Tanks (MBT) and Artillery pieces.
As always, museum staff will be in attendance to answer any and all questions you may have. With free admission for all personnel, you can't afford to miss out on this exciting day out for the whole family!

Hold onto your hats, or small children, and prepare to be blown away by another Tank Museum display day.
This year's theme will feature a lineup of the most iconic Armoured Vehicles that once served the Australian Defence Force, both overseas and on home soil. Such a lineup will include, but is not limited to:

Universal Carrier LP2
Grant M3 Medium
Yeramba 25 Pdr Gun
Matilda
Ferret Scout Car
Staghound Armoured Car
Land Rover Series 2(A) fitted with a 106mm RCL
M113A1 Mortar Carrier (The last Australian one)

Puckapunyal Community Open Day - 2022
9 April 2022, 10 am to 1 pm.
Brace yourselves, for the Tank Museum open day (2022) is coming.
Running in conjunction with the Puckapunyal Military Area (PMA) Community Open Day, the Tank Museum will once again bring out of storage our prized collection of the Family of M113 Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC), Centurion Tank and Swedish S-Tank; for those of you who missed out in 2020.
All visitors are welcome to peruse our set exhibits, gawp at the motor mechanics of the Swedish S-Tank and marvel at the mind-boggling technology variations between each of the M113 APCs. Additionally, while displays will be static, prepared to have your socks knocked off by the deep rumbles of the engines, as featured vehicles will be started up on the hour.
As always, museum staff will be in attendance to answer any and all questions you may have. With a $5 entry fee for all visitors, you can't afford to miss out on this exciting day out for the whole family!
